What if my cat won't use it?
That's the most common worry, and most cats get there in 3 to 7 days. Put the fountain next to the old bowl, keep the old bowl out for the first few days, and let your cat explore it. How often do I change the filter?
Every 2 weeks. A 4-pack lasts about 8 weeks. You can buy filters any time or add our optional filter plan, which sends a 4-pack every 8 weeks for $13.95 with free shipping. Cancel any time. See our Filter Plan Terms.
How do I clean it?
Empty it, take it apart and wash the parts with warm soapy water and the cleaning kit, then rinse and refit the filter. Follow the instructions in the box.
Is it a treatment for kidney or bladder problems?
No. H2OKitty is for everyday drinking water, not veterinary treatment. If your cat stops drinking, strains to pee or seems unwell, please talk to your vet.
What is your guarantee?
Try it for up to 365 days. If it isn't right for you or your cat, email us, send the fountain back (you pay return postage) and we'll refund what you paid for it. You can keep the filters, kit, mat and guide. See our Refund Policy.
Is there a warranty?
Yes: 3 years on the Starter set and 5 years on the Best Value and Two Floors sets, against defects in materials and workmanship. If the pump or fountain stops working, we'll send a free replacement.
Do I need two fountains?
If your home has two floors or more than one cat, a second fountain means a fresh drink is never far away. The Two Floors set includes two of everything.
How long does delivery take?
